3rd Year Anniversary: Boripe LG Chairman Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi Hails President Tinubu on Local Government Autonomy and Economic Reforms

As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR marks 3 years in office, the Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi, has commended the administration’s bold steps on local government autonomy and economic reforms.

Hon. Odebunmi described the President’s commitment to granting financial and administrative autonomy to local governments as a “game-changer for grassroots development.” He noted that the reforms have strengthened accountability, boosted internally generated revenue, and empowered LGs to deliver more projects directly to citizens.

“President Tinubu’s economic reforms, though tough at the start, are laying the foundation for long-term stability, investment, and prosperity. At the local level in Boripe, we are already feeling the impact through improved funding for health, education, and infrastructure,” the Chairman said.

He reaffirmed Boripe LG’s support for the Renewed Hope agenda and pledged to align local policies with federal reforms to ensure residents benefit maximally from the administration’s vision.

“On behalf of the people of Boripe, we congratulate Mr. President on this 3rd year milestone and pray for more wisdom, strength, and success as he continues to steer Nigeria toward greatness,” Hon. Odebunmi added.
