Osun APC Celebrates Mrs Oyetola At 66, Describes Her As Epitome Of Motherhood

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Her Excellency, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola , on the  occasion of her 66th birthday, describing her as an epitome of motherhood, compassion and exemplary leadership.

In a statement issued by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today,  the Osun State APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, joined family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers across the state and beyond in celebrating the wife of the immediate-past state Governor Adegboyega Oyetola , now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.

He described her as a woman of grace, dignity, and uncommon dedication to humanity.

Lawal particularly acknowledged her invaluable contributions during the tenure of her husband  where she demonstrated exceptional commitment to social welfare, women empowerment, and community development. 

In his words: "Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola's initiatives and compassionate outreach programmes significantly improved the lives of many, especially the vulnerable and less privileged in the society.

"Her motherly role and wise counsel have continued to inspire unity and strengthen the party’s structure while her calm disposition and steadfast loyalty remain admirable qualities that set her apart.

"Mrs Oyetola has been a pillar of support to her husband, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and leader of the party in the state, whose political journey has been greatly complemented by her resilience, encouragement and devotion.

"As she marks this significant milestone,  we celebrate her legacy of service, humility and enduring commitment to societal progress. 

"Her life stands as a shining example of selfless leadership and genuine concern for humanity.

"We pray as a party that Almighty Allah grants Her Excellency many more years in good health, sound mind and continued prosperity, so that she may keep contributing meaningfully to the development of the state and the nation at large.
