Osun 2026: Obokun LGA Boss, Engr. Maaroof Ogundipe Hails Choice Of Wole Oke As AMBO/Adereti Campaign DG, Describes Lawmaker As A Serial Winner

The Executive Chairman of Obokun Local Government Area, Engr. Maaroof Ogundipe, has commended the emergence of Hon. Oluwole Oke as the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign for the forthcoming 2026 Osun governorship election, describing the choice as timely and strategic.

In a statement made available to journalists, Ogundipe lauded the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State for entrusting such a critical role to Hon. Oke, noting that his vast political experience, grassroots connection, and consistent electoral victories make him well-suited to lead the party to success.

According to the Obokun LGA Boss, Hon. Wole Oke has over the years demonstrated uncommon political strength and resilience, earning him the reputation of a “serial winner” in Osun politics.

“Hon. Wole Oke is not just a seasoned lawmaker but a tested and trusted leader whose track record speaks volumes. His ability to connect with the people and deliver results at the polls is unparalleled. This appointment is a clear indication that our party is serious about victory in 2026,” Ogundipe stated.

He further expressed confidence that with Hon. Oke at the helm of the campaign structure, the APC would be well-positioned to mobilize effectively across all local government areas and secure a resounding victory for the candidate of the party, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) at the polls, on August 15th, 2026.

Ogundipe also called on party members and supporters across the state to rally behind the campaign leadership and AMBO, emphasizing the need for unity, dedication, and collective effort in achieving the party’s electoral goals.

“With unity of purpose and the right leadership in place, there is no doubt that victory is assured. I urge all our members to close ranks and work tirelessly to return the APC to power in Osun State,” he added.
