Osun 2026:- Eniade Welcomes Hundreds Of Defectors To APC in Ifelodun, Charges Them To Mobilize For AMBO

Leading aspirant for the Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal House of Representatives seat, Hon. Damilare Fransic  Eniade, on Monday received hundreds of new members into the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Government.

The defectors, drawn from the Accord Party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and African Democratic Congress (ADC), include ward executives and loyal supporters from across the 12 wards of Ifelodun Local Government.

The mass defection is seen as a major political boost for the APC ahead of future elections and further strengthens the growing popularity of Hon. Damilare Eniade across the federal constituency.

Speaking during the reception, Hon. Eniade thanked the new members for their confidence in the APC and assured them of inclusive leadership, grassroots development, and quality representation.

He then charged the new entrants to immediately begin door-to-door mobilization for Osun APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO)*, ahead of the *August 15, 2026 gubernatorial election.

APC is a big family. Your coming today shows you believe in progress, not promises. Now, let us take AMBO to every house, every street, every ward in Ifelodun. August 15 is about Osun, and AMBO is the answer,” Eniade declared.

Also speaking, the Executive Chairman of Odo-Otin Local Government, Hon. Oladele Adepoju Iko, on behalf of other sitting party leaders, commended the defectors for their bold decision and promised them equal opportunities within the APC.

The event witnessed jubilations from party leaders, stakeholders, youths, and supporters who described the development as a sign of greater victories ahead for the APC.
