AIO Is Not Clement: Team AIO Condemns Cheap Blackmail, Urges Focus on Truth and Progress

 

In the face of growing public support and rising political momentum, Team AIO has firmly rejected what it described as deliberate attempts by some disgruntled elements to mislead the public through unfounded comparisons and cheap blackmail targeted at Hon. Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin.

Reacting to insinuations that seek to liken AIO with Clement Ademola, the group made it clear that such narratives are not only baseless but also a calculated move to distort facts and weaken the bond that AIO has built with the people over time.

According to the group, Clement Ademola once had a political journey within the All Progressives Congress, where he actively participated and benefited from the structure and goodwill of the party before choosing a different path based on personal considerations. However, Team AIO emphasized that drawing parallels between such a decision and AIO’s consistent political trajectory is both misleading and intellectually dishonest.

The statement noted that AIO’s record within the party remains one of loyalty, resilience, and unmatched dedication. Even at moments when opportunities did not favor him, he stood firm, contributing immensely to party stability and grassroots engagement without wavering in his allegiance. His approach has always been defined by service, inclusiveness, and a deep connection with the people.

Team AIO further pointed out that the current wave of support being enjoyed by AIO across Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency has unsettled some individuals who now resort to propaganda as a survival tactic. They stressed that when opponents run out of constructive engagement, they often fall back on misinformation, hoping to create doubt where there is clarity.

The group reassured supporters that the strength of AIO lies in his proven character, his open commitment to the people, and the trust he has earned through consistent actions. They maintained that no amount of blackmail can erase the visible impact and goodwill he has established.

While urging members of the public to remain focused and discerning, Team AIO called on political actors to embrace issue based engagement rather than resorting to divisive tactics. They concluded that the people are now more informed than ever and can clearly distinguish between genuine leadership and desperate attempts to manipulate public perception.
