Osun 2026: Osun APC Women Network Holds Special Interfaith Prayer Session For AMBO, Oyetola, and Tinubu
The Osun State APC Women Network, under the leadership of Hon. Mulikat Abiola, organised a special interfaith prayer session in support of the gubernatorial aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), H.E Adegboyega Oyetola , Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and the re-election bid of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu .
The prayer programme was held at Ileri-Oluwa House, Ogo-Oluwa Area, Osogbo, with party faithful and supporters in attendance.
The event brought together women leaders, party stakeholders, and supporters who gathered to offer prayers for peace, progress, and victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections. The programme featured an interfaith prayer session to reflect unity among members of different religious backgrounds.
The Christian prayer session was led by Hon. Adeosun Rasaki , a former Special Adviser to former Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, while the Islamic prayers were offered by respected Islamic clerics who prayed for divine guidance, protection, and electoral success for the party’s candidates.
Speaking at the event, the Chairperson of the group, Mrs Mulikat Abiola , highlighted the activities and contributions of the Osun APC Women Network, noting that the group has remained committed to mobilising grassroots support for the party across the state. She emphasised the importance of prayers and unity among party members as the state prepares for the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
Mrs Abiola described Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) as a humble, well-mannered, and compassionate leader who understands the needs and challenges of the people. According to her, his leadership style and accessibility have endeared him to many across Osun State. She expressed confidence that AMBO would bring purposeful leadership and development to the state.
She therefore called on residents and eligible voters across Osun State to support the APC and cast their votes for AMBO in the August 15 gubernatorial election, assuring them that his administration would prioritise the welfare and progress of the people.
Prayers were also offered for the continued success and stability of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with participants expressing optimism about the Renewed Hope agenda.
Dignitaries present at the event included the Renewed Hope Ambassador, Hon. Akere Sunday , Hon. Adeoye Bakare , former Special Adviser to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola Hon. Rasaki Adeosun, a representative of the incoming First Lady, members of the APC State Executive Council, women leaders of the party, and other prominent stakeholders who came together to show solidarity and support for the party’s candidates.
