The leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Orolu Local Government yesterday received Hon. Ibrahim Taofeeq Kayode (ITK) in Ifon-Orolu during the Ramadan Tefsir and Iftar programme powered by the business mogul.

The well-attended gathering brought together party leaders, members and residents who described ITK as a true son of the soil. The enthusiastic party faithful present offered prayers for Hon. Ibrahim Taofeeq Kayode, describing him as a great philanthropist who is dedicating his resources in the service of Allah and humanity.

Delivering the Ramadan lecture at the programme, an Islamic cleric noted that the spirit of giving comes from God and only a few people are blessed with such a heart. He stated that although ITK may not be the richest person in Osogbo Federal Constituency, he clearly understands the teachings of Islam and follows the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) through his acts of generosity and compassion.

The cleric also offered special prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, Osun State APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), and the sponsor of the Tefsir/Iftar programme, Hon. Ibrahim Taofeeq Kayode (ITK).

Speaking at the event, ITK appreciated everyone who attended the programme. He explained that the gathering was not organised for political purposes but to share the words of Allah and break fast together in unity and brotherhood.

“I appreciate everyone for coming. This programme is not about politics; it is about sharing the words of Allah and eating together as one family,” he said.

He concluded by hinting at his future political plans, saying, *“I will return very soon to formally declare my political intentions.”*
