In a remarkable show of commitment to heritage preservation and community development, Prince Dr. Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo has completed the full renovation and upgrade of the Aruru Gbemu Royal House Hall in Osogbo.

The hall, located within the historic Aruru Royal Family House, has now been transformed into a modern and befitting edifice, equipped with contemporary facilities and quality furniture to enhance comfort, functionality and prestige.

Prince Romeo, a proud prince from the ruling house and a frontline 2027 House of Representatives aspirant for Osogbo Federal Constituency, undertook the project as part of his unwavering dedication to preserving royal heritage while promoting community advancement.

The renovation included structural upgrades, improved interior finishing, installation of modern fittings, paintings, provision of standing fans, new window blinds, POP fittings and the provision of new furniture to ensure the hall can conveniently host family meetings, cultural gatherings, and other important engagements.

The upgraded Aruru Gbemu Royal House Hall now stands as a testament to Prince Romeo’s commitment to unity, development and the continuous upliftment of Osogbo’s cultural institutions.

“This is more than a renovation project; it is a responsibility. As a prince of the Aruru ruling house, I believe it is my duty to contribute meaningfully to the preservation and dignity of our royal heritage.” Romeo revealed.

He added that the initiative reflects his broader vision for development rooted in culture and service.

“Our royal institutions represent history, unity and identity. Upgrading this hall is a way of strengthening our foundation as a people. When we preserve our heritage, we secure our future.”
