Prince Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo Joins Oba-Oke Community Day Celebrations, Donates ₦1 Million; Pays Courtesy Visit to Ematuwo Group in Irepodun LGA

Oba-Oke community in Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State came alive with colour, unity and renewed political enthusiasm as  Prince Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo joined residents to celebrate the annual Oba-Oke Community Day, marking the occasion with a generous donation of ₦1 million to support community development initiatives.

The well-attended event attracted a constellation of political leaders and stakeholders, including the Osun State APC Governorship Candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), Hon. Oluwole Oke, and several other prominent leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the state. Their presence underscored the growing importance of grassroots engagement and community-focused leadership in the political landscape of Osun State.

Romeo, a frontline 2027 House of Representatives Aspirant for Osogbo Federal Constituency described Oba-Oke as a community rich in culture, resilience and progressive spirit, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved when leaders remain closely connected to the people. He noted that his donation was a modest contribution aimed at supporting ongoing efforts to improve the welfare and social infrastructure of the community.

As part of his engagements in Irepodun LGA, Romeo also paid a courtesy visit to the Ematuwo Group, a notable socio-political organization in the area. The group is led by Hon. Najeem Olatoye and Hon. Ademola Adeshina (Gudobe), both of whom warmly received the Prince and his entourage.

During the visit, discussions focused on community development, youth empowerment and the need for sustained collaboration to strengthen the APC’s grassroots structure in Irepodun and beyond. Leaders of the Ematuwo Group applauded Prince Romeo’s visit, describing it as a demonstration of inclusive leadership and respect for local stakeholders.

The twin engagements, Oba-Oke Day Celebration and the visit to the Ematuwo Group, further highlighted Prince Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo’s growing influence and his commitment to people-centered politics, as the APC continues to rally support across Osun State ahead of the August 8th, 2026 governorship election.
