The Aragbiji Palace, a beacon of wisdom and enlightenment, hosted Dr. Sanusi Lafiagi, Senior Lecturer at Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, for a profoundly insightful lecture on "Islamic Perspective on the Killing of Innocent Souls" as part of its Ramadan 1447 program.

Dr. Lafiagi's eloquent discourse illuminated the sanctity of human life in Islam, citing the revered Quranic verse, "Whoever kills an innocent soul, it is as if he has killed all of humanity" (Quran 5:32). He passionately emphasized that Islam is a religion of peace, compassion, and justice, urging Muslims to cherish and safeguard human life.

The lecture highlighted the imperative of fostering tolerance, understanding, and peaceful coexistence. Attendees engaged in a vibrant discussion on self-defense and protecting civilians in conflict zones.

Aragbiji, HRM Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, and the Ramadan 1447 Committee Chairman, Mr. Niyi Babaranti, commended Dr. Lafiagi for his erudite lecture.
