Oriade LG Chairman, Obeisun, Pays Outstanding Salaries Owed Casual Workers

The Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Government, Hon. Olubunmi Ezekiel Obeisun, has demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to workers’ welfare with the clearance of eleven months’ outstanding salaries owed to casual workers in the local government area.

The payment exercise, which was carried out yesterday, brought relief and renewed hope to the affected workers who had patiently endured months of financial hardship. The move has been widely applauded as a bold and compassionate step by the council chairman to prioritize the wellbeing of grassroots workers.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Obeisun expressed deep appreciation to the casual workers for their dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Oriade Local Government despite the salary backlog. He assured them that their sacrifices and support had not gone unnoticed by his administration.

The chairman emphasized that his administration remains committed to fairness, accountability, and inclusive governance, noting that workers are the backbone of effective service delivery at the local government level. He reaffirmed his resolve to continue implementing people-oriented policies that positively impact lives.

Those who benefitted from the cleared salary payments include Ayeyinka Esther, Olowe Jimoh, Ojo Olusesi, Tobalase Niyi, Ganiyat Kareem, Babafemi Olayemi, Arogundade Alaba, Amoo Oluwasegun, Dagiloke Sunday, Ibitayo Lekan, Awe Rasaki, Oni Suji, Aremu Olayinka, Kato Olalekan, and Akanbi Muyiwa.
