Ajisope Receives New Members From Osun Ruling Party, PDP

The Ajisope Development Initiative receives members of the ruling party to the group today in a massive demonstration to align with All Progressives Congress (APC) and the government at federal level.

The social political group, Ajisope Development Initiative under the umbrella of the largest political party in Africa, All Progressive Congress (APC) founded by Alhaji AbdulKabir Adeoye Okikiola Ajisope mobilising and canvassing aggrieved members across political parties, especially from the ruling party at the grassroots.

Nothing less than 500 members of the ruling party in the state defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC) through the Ajisope Development Initiative group, today Wednesday 17th December, 2025.

Major defectors were from Irepodun, Olorunda, Orolu and Osogbo federal constituency. Also present were defectors from Boluwaduro local government, who were led by their group's leader. 

Grassroots political leaders from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Accord Party defected with their numerous members to the All Progressive Congress (APC) across Osogbo federal constituency.

Leaders from across the board who came with their groups from their local government include  lrepodun,(Ilobu), Hon. Prince Olaide Olaniyi, Irepodun (Erin-Osun), Mr. Agboola Wasiu, Orolu, Chief Azeez Waidi Presido, Olorunda, Hon. Raji Kareem and Mrs. Yetunde Taiwo, Osogbo Alhaji Moshood and Alhaji Jelili.

The founder of Ajisope Development Initiative, Alhaji AbdulKabir Adeoye Ajisope while welcoming the defectors assured them that they won’t regret joining the All Progressive Congress (APC).

He stressed that, the party is well coordinated with an outstanding national leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. He challenged the newly defected members that they should start mobilising and canvassing for the Osun APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR come 2026 and 2027 general elections respectively.

He assured them that the dividends of democracy will be evenly distributed.
