Prince Dr. Muideen Abdulrasheed ROMEO Commiserates With People of Igbajo, Osun APC Family on the Painful Loss of Oba Adegboyega Famodun
A frontline progressive leader and distinguished chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osogbo Federal Constituency, Prince Dr. Muideen Abdulrasheed ROMEO, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Oba Adegboyega Famodun, the Owa of Igbajo and immediate past Chairman of the APC in Osun State.
Prince ROMEO described the late monarch as “one of the strongest pillars of the progressive family, a rare leader, a political father, and a royal figure whose wisdom, steadfastness, and courage greatly shaped the APC’s direction in Osun over the years.”
According to him, Oba Famodun was far more than a traditional ruler; he was “a political compass, a unifying force, and a voice of stability whose leadership guided the party through critical moments and transitions.”
He noted that the vacuum created by the monarch’s demise is profound, stressing that the Owa’s invaluable contributions to party unity, grassroots mobilisation, conflict resolution, and strategic engagements will forever remain part of the APC’s history in Osun State.
Prince ROMEO lamented that Igbajo has lost a father, Osun APC has lost a guiding light, and the progressive family has lost a dependable pillar at a moment when his experience and stabilising influence were needed the most.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the Igbajo community, and the entire Osun APC structure, praying that God grants them the strength to bear this painful loss, and grants the revered monarch eternal rest in peace.
