In commemoration of the 2025 National Youth Day, Hon. Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), a notable chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency, has extended warm felicitations to Nigerian youth, while reaffirming his unwavering commitment to their full participation in the nation’s governance and development.

In a statement issued on Saturday, AIO praised the extraordinary resilience, creativity, and tenacity of Nigerian youth, describing them as the fulcrum of national advancement and the most formidable catalyst for innovation across all sectors.

AIO also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) for what he termed “strategic and courageous interventions” aimed at recalibrating Nigeria’s struggling economy. He noted that the Tinubu-led administration has initiated foundational reforms designed to correct decades-long structural distortions inherited from previous governments, asserting that such efforts are gradually rekindling investor confidence, stabilizing macroeconomic frameworks, and unlocking new growth prospects.

According to him, these reforms remain indispensable for building a resilient and prosperous economy capable of sustaining future generations.

“This administration has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to revitalizing our economy,” AIO said. “Through pragmatic policies and intentional restructuring, President Tinubu is steering Nigeria toward sustainable growth. The turbulence we experience today is a necessary bridge to a more prosperous tomorrow.”

Reiterating his steadfast advocacy for youth inclusivity, AIO emphasized that no nation can attain genuine progress if its young population is relegated to the margins of decision-making. He described the Nigerian youth demographic as a reservoir of intellectual capital whose dynamism continues to shine in areas such as technology, agro-innovation, creative enterprise, and civic leadership.

“I remain fully committed to promoting an environment where young people are not only seen but heard; not only trained but empowered; not only included but entrusted with leadership,” he declared. “The future belongs to the youth, and it is our collective duty to ensure that they are positioned to shape policies and contribute meaningfully to governance.”

AIO urged public institutions, stakeholders, and development partners to intensify investments in qualitative education, entrepreneurial support, and leadership mentorship. He noted that these are essential pillars for grooming a generation capable of navigating global complexities and translating national aspirations into tangible success.

He encouraged young people across the nation to remain patriotic, forward-thinking, and industrious as they assert their place in Nigeria’s unfolding renaissance.

AIO concluded by offering prayers for divine guidance upon the youth and reaffirmed his dedication to championing a fair society where opportunities are accessible, dreams are protected, and excellence is rewarded.
