This Saturday, November 15, 2025, sons and daughters of Iragbiji gathered to celebrate the 34th Iragbiji Day. We commemorate another year of unwavering commitment to community development and progress.

This momentous occasion honors the visionary leadership of HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Land, and the tireless efforts of the Iragbiji Development Association (IDA) under the chairmanship of Dr. Lateef Raheem. 

Throughout the years, our community has remained steadfast in its pursuit of excellence, achieving remarkable milestones that continue to inspire and uplift us all. Among our most notable accomplishments are:

1. The Construction of an Administrative Complex*: A monumental achievement that underscores our commitment to supporting justice and governance in our community. This complex, housing both the High Court and Magistrate Court, stands as a testament to what can be achieved through collective effort and determination, without relying on government funding.

2. The Ultra-Modern Palace*: A masterpiece of contemporary architecture, our palace is not only a symbol of our rich cultural heritage but also a source of pride for our community. It reflects the unity, resilience, and unwavering spirit of the people of Iragbiji.

3. The ongoing Multi-Billion Iragbiji Ultra-Modern Civil Centre Project: This project will bring more innovation to Iragbiji, further solidifying our community's position as a hub for development.

4. The Federal University of Agriculture and Development Studies, Iragbiji  (FUADSI)  We are grateful for the efforts of the Aragbiji and Iragbiji Development Association (IDA) and the support of the Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola  CON, for providing the take-off site for this esteemed institution.

These projects are more than just physical structures; they represent the embodiment of our values—self-reliance, unity, and dedication to progress. They serve as a reminder that with determination and collective effort, our community can achieve greatness.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we express our deepest gratitude to His Royal Majesty  Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi  Odundun IV for his visionary leadership and to the members of the IDA, led by Dr. Lateef Raheem , for their tireless efforts. We also acknowledge the unwavering support of our community members, both at home and in the diaspora, whose contributions have been instrumental in our achievements.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to harnessing our collective potential to drive development, promote unity, and uphold the values that have defined us. May this celebration inspire us to continue striving for greatness and to build a brighter future for generations to come.
