We’re Ready to Work Together for Progress — Obeisun Tells Oriade LG Workers
The Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Government, Hon. Olubunmi Ezekiel Obeisun, has called on all local government workers in the council area to resume work on Monday, October 6, 2025, assuring them of a peaceful and welcoming environment. He made this known while addressing the ongoing discussions surrounding workers’ resumption across local government areas in Osun State.
Hon. Obeisun emphasized that every staff member of the local government is employed and paid through public funds, not from any individual’s private resources. He urged the workers to remain committed to their duties and to work harmoniously with the duly elected council officials irrespective of political affiliations or party differences.
According to him, “The secretariats of all local governments in Osun State are public institutions belonging to the people, not to any political group or individual. It is our collective responsibility to safeguard and utilize them for the benefit and progress of our communities.”
The Oriade Chairman reiterated that the council secretariat remains open, safe, and conducive for all willing staff members who are ready to perform their official duties diligently. He noted that his administration is focused on promoting peace, accountability, and development within the local government.
Hon. Obeisun further called on all workers to join hands with his administration to advance the growth and prosperity of Oriade Local Government. “Let us resume and work together for the progress of our fatherland. God bless Oriade Local Government, God bless Osun State, and God bless Nigeria,” he declared.
