Osun 2026 : Supporters of Dotun Babayemi AMBO Never Clashed
Our attention has been drawn to a skewed narrative being circulated about an imaginary clash between the supporters of Omooba Dotun Babayemi popularly known as ODB and those of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) when the latter visited Gbongan in Ayedade Local Government for the conclusion of his consultation tour across the 30 local governments and the Ife-East Area office in Osun State.
The piece on the purported clash is the handiwork of those afraid of the impending victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state gubernatorial election slated for next year. As such, it does not deserve the attention of any serious citizen or resident of Osun.
Omooba Dotun Babayemi is a well known man of peace who mutually relates well with his co-aspirants in APC with common understanding of the values of the party.
To underscore his love for peace in the state and especially within the APC fold, he has visited the 30 local governments, the Ife East Area Office, and has already covered 200 out of the 332 wards in the state, preaching peace and unity amongst members, leaders and stakeholders of the party.
The purported clash between the supporters of ODB and AMBO is just a figment of imagination of the lazy minds who have remained confused as defeat stare at them as the 2026 governorship polls in the state approaches.
More importantly, the APC in Ayedaade Local Government, Irewole Federal Constituency, Osun West Senatorial and in the state as a whole, remains one united family. We abhor violence as a party and people.
Relentlessly, our leaders in APC have continued to drive the agenda of a better Osun for all. APC is a big and indivisible family in Osun with the resolve of staying focused and united for a common goal of winning the August 8, 2026 gubernatorial election and the 2027 general elections with landslide victory.
This remains sacrosanct and would be achieved with unity of purpose within our great party, the APC.
