The Management,
Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc (IBEDC),
Osogbo/ Ibadan Office.

Dear Sir/Madam,

*OPEN LETTER TO THE IBADAN ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY PLC (IBEDC)*

*POOR SERVICE DELIVERY BY IBEDC IN OSUN STATE: A CALL FOR ACTION*

*IBEDC ELECTRICITY NIGHTMARE: IRAGBIJI DESERVES BETTER*

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc (IBEDC) has consistently demonstrated a lack of commitment to serving the electricity needs of Osun State, particularly in Iragbiji and its environs.

For over a month, a damaged breaker has crippled the server power supply to Iragbiji and surrounding communities. Despite generating substantial revenue from these areas, IBEDC has failed to replace the faulty breaker.

This is not the first instance of IBEDC's ineptitude. The company has been known to relocate functional equipment from one area to another, only to have it malfunction shortly after. Specifically, IBEDC removed a server from Ikirun and temporarily used it in Iragbiji, only for it to fail after a few days.

The lack of electricity has severely impacted the community, affecting businesses, healthcare, education, and daily life. We urge you to take immediate action to address this issue.

DEMANDS
1. Immediate replacement of the damaged breaker to restore power supply to Iragbiji and its environs.
2. Investigation into IBEDC's equipment management practices.
3. Improved customer service and transparency.

We request that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and relevant authorities intervene and hold IBEDC accountable for their service delivery failures. IBEDC must prioritize its customers' needs and provide a reliable electricity supply.

Sincerely,
UTILITY
