Osun APC Greets Aragbiji At 63, Describes Him As Beacon Of Development

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulrasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary, describing him as one of the veritable sources of traditional blessings to the state.

According to the Osun State chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's spokesman, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today, Oba Olabomi in deed, character and carriage has shown to be a voice to the voiceless not only in his domain but throughout the state

The state party chairman stated that Iragbiji people are extremely lucky to have Oba Olabomi as their traditional ruler during this period in the history of the ancient town as it is on record that he has attracted so many developmental projects to the town during his reign.

According to Lawal, it is not an overstatement to state that the Aragbiji has proven to be a distinguished ambassador of his community through his actions and inactions both in the state and outside the state.

He described him as an esteemed royal father of substance and wisdom, a dependable compass guiding the state's socio-political path. 

In Lawal's words: "Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi is a pillar of strength, a polished custodian of our culture and undoubtedly one of the most visible and engaging African monarchs on social media, seamlessly flowing with the times and the people.

"I am commending the Aragbiji for his fatherly role in fostering harmony among the people, his unwavering support for good governance and his genuine passion for community development. 

"Oba Olabomi’s leadership quality continues to stand as a shining example of how traditional institutions can contribute meaningfully to social and political progress.

“On behalf of the entire leadership and members of our great party, the APC in Osun State, I heartily rejoice with His Royal Majesty, the Aragbiji of Iragbijiland, on this joyous occasion of his birthday. 

"We pray that Almighty God grants the Kabiyesi many more years in sound health, divine wisdom and enduring strength to continue serving his people and humanity,” Lawal said.
