NEXT LEVEL PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT LAUDS OSUN APC LEADERSHIP, LG CHAIRMEN, HARPS ON UNITY.

At their caucus meeting today, October 3, 2025, the BOT, stakeholders, zonal, and local government coordinators of the Next Level Progressive Movement gathered at their National Secretariat at Gbodofon, Osogbo, to discuss the state of affairs in the Osun APC and the general political situation in the state.

The meeting which was chaired by its Director General, Hon. Chief Owoeye

Samuel Abiodun (OSA), said it is satisfied with the way the state party executive headed by Alh Sooko Tajudeen Lawal,has been navigating the ship of the party by allowing all aspirants to exercise their franchise as they jostle for the ticket of the party in the coming gubernatorial election; promising to make an international press conference on the aspirant thousand of members of the party will soon throw their wait behind.

The group peopled by the progressives, also commended the leader of the party, Alh. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, and the elders of the party, such as Baba Bisi Akande and the Igbimo Agba,for their leadership acumen and the way they've been able to hold the party together despite the numerous challenges facing it.

The meeting also congratulated and commended the local governments' chairmen under the leadership of ALGON Chairman, Hon Abiodun Samuel Idowu and councilors,for their resilience and steadfastness in the face of provocation by the rudderless PDP, a party that is losing its members and political office holders to APC in droves due to their ineptitude and lack of clear vision. Unfortunately, they ambitiously acquired power but wouldn't know what to do with it.

On the withheld local government allocation, the group emphasizes the need to approach the issue with equanimity and the rule of law that the party is known for, urging them to take giant developmental strides as soon as the allocation is received.

The national body of the group, also vowed to take back OSUN State for the APC in 2026, after which the 2027 presidential election would be a walkover for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the nation, they posited. They, however, implore the leadership and followers of the party in the state to unite to form a common front.
