Intimidation of Olorunda Local Government Workers: Osun State Government, NULGE Leadership, and Mr. Sogo Abiodun Must Be Held Accountable

We are compelled to bring to the attention of the general public the disturbing trend of intimidation and harassment of local government workers in Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State.

It has come to our notice that agents of the Osun State NULGE executive, led by Mr. Sogo Abiodun, are currently intimidating and threatening workers who have expressed their readiness to resume work on Monday. Specifically, Mrs. Kubura Aderemi, a staff member of Olorunda Local Government, has been directly threatened and harassed.

We condemn this unacceptable behavior and hold the Osun State Government, the Osun State NULGE leadership, and Mr. Sogo Abiodun fully responsible for any incident that may occur on Monday.

We demand that the authorities take immediate action to:

1. Ensure the safety and security of all workers in Olorunda Local Government.

2. Investigate the allegations of intimidation and harassment.

3. Hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.
