NPA Empowerment in Boripe: Odebunmi Commends President Tinubu, Oyetola, NPA

The Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru , has commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu  GCFR, Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola  CON, The Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Ports Authority Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, and Executive Director on Marine and Operations Engr. Olalekan Badmus (Omolore) for the provision of vocational training and empowerment tools to youths and women in Boripe and Iwo Local Governments as part of the Nigerian Ports Authority's (NPA) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR 2024) initiative.

Hon. Odebunmi praised the NPA's efforts to empower the youths and women in the local government, stating that the initiative will go a long way in reducing poverty and unemployment in the area.

"We are grateful to President Tinubu, Hon. Minister Oyetola, and the NPA for this laudable initiative," Hon. Odebunmi said. "This empowerment program will not only equip our youths and women with vocational skills but also provide them with the necessary tools to start their own businesses."

Hon. Odebunmi also thanked Engr. Olalekan Badmus (Omolore) for his role in facilitating the NPA's CSR initiative in Boripe Local Government.

"We appreciate the efforts of Engr. Badmus in bringing this empowerment program to our local government," Hon. Odebunmi said. "His commitment to the development of our community is commendable."
