FG, Aragbiji Flag-Off Construction and Rehabilitation of Roads in Iragbiji

Iragbiji, Osun State. 

 The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, has flagged off the reconstruction and rehabilitation of road links to the proposed establishment of a branch of the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology in Iragbiji.

The Aragbiji of Iragbiji land,  Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi  Odundun IV, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola CON, for this significant project.

The Aragbiji also commended the former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola , for his efforts in facilitating the establishment of the college in Iragbiji.

Dr. Olubiyi, representing the Provost of the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, was present at the flag-off ceremony, which marked the beginning of the construction and rehabilitation of the road links to the institution.

This project is expected to enhance the development of Iragbiji and its surrounding communities, while also promoting the growth of the fisheries and marine technology sector in Nigeria.

The reconstruction and rehabilitation of the road links will not only facilitate easy access to the college but also open up new economic opportunities for the people of Iragbiji and its environs.

The Aragbiji of Iragbiji land reiterated his commitment to supporting the Federal Government's efforts to develop the education and economic sectors in Nigeria.

The people of Sangoyoyin community have also expressed their gratitude to the former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and the Aragbiji for bringing this project to their community, which will bring about improved infrastructure, economic growth, and increased access to education and job opportunities.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Aragbiji-in-Council, Baale Sangoyoyin, Boripe LG Chairman, Hon.  Odebunmi Sikiru , Boripe North Chairman, Hon. Issac Bamigbegbe, Vice Chairman, Hon. Fabunmi Sunday Gabriel , Personal Assistant to Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Kazeem Akolawole , Chief of Staff to Aragbiji, Hon.
