PDP members Attacks Boripe Local Government Council Chairman's Office

The Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi, condemns the unwarranted attack on the Chairman's office in Boripe Local Government Council by members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), which resulted in the brutal assault on the Chairman's aide.

This unprovoked attack is a clear indication of the PDP's penchant for violence and disrespect for democratic institutions. We call on the relevant authorities to take immediate action to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The safety and security of our elected officials and their staff are of utmost importance, and we will not tolerate any attempt to compromise their well-being.

We commend the prompt response of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in arresting the attacker and urge the police to ensure that justice is served.

We urge all stakeholders to remain calm and law-abiding, as we work towards maintaining peace and order in our community.

We also call on the PDP leadership to take responsibility for the actions of their members and to take concrete steps to prevent future incidents of violence.

The people of Boripe Local Government Area deserve peace and tranquility, and we will not allow the actions of a few individuals to disrupt the harmony of our community, Odebunmi added.
