Osun 2026: Boripe APC Receives Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, Upholds Unity Among Governorship Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Boripe Local Government Area has received Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, a gubernatorial aspirant in the party, with a call for unity among all aspirants.

Dr. Ogunbiyi, who was warmly received by the party leaders and members, emphasized the need for unity and cohesion among all governorship aspirants in the party. He stressed that the party's chances of winning the 2026 governorship election in Osun State depend on the ability of all aspirants to work together and support one another.

Dr. Ogunbiyi expressed his confidence in the leadership of Former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, stating that his leadership is crucial to the party's progress.

The APC leaders in Boripe, including Alhaji Kareem Afolabi, Alhaji Sulaiman Aderemi, Alhaji Imoraneda, Hon. Adeojo, Local Government Chairman Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi, Party Chairman Prince Mufutau Omogboye (Okongo), Woman Leader Mrs. Afusat, and Youth Leader Mr. Mudasir, commended Dr. Ogunbiyi for his commitment to party unity and his vision for the development of Osun State.

As part of his visit, Dr. Ogunbiyi paid homage to the Aragbiji Palace, Oba AbdulRasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, and later made a surprise visit to the residence of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, demonstrating his loyalty to the leadership of Oyetola.
