Omooba Dotun Babayemi, a prominent governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has commended President Bola Tinubu over the appointment of Hon. Ayo Omidiran as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

Also, he appreciated the country's helmsman for reappointing another indigene of the state, Mr Eludayo Eluyemi, as a Commissioner in the commission.

In a release from his media office, the gubernatorial aspirant described the appointments as coming at a time when the course of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu was being driven to a commendable level of advancement.

Babayemi rejoiced with Omidiran and Eluyemi for being considered worthy to further help President Tinubu in crystalising his vision through their appointments into the FCC.

He asserted that Omidiran, as a former member of the House of Representatives, would no doubt bring her wealth of experience to bear in her current position as the Executive Chairman.

"Hon. Ayo Omidiran has never failed to prove her mettle in whatever assignment she finds herself. This is the more reason we believe she will excel at the Federal Character Commission. Her wealth of experience, coupled with her cosmopolitan disposition, will definitely be an added value in this direction," he stressed.

In the like manner, Babayemi said Eluyemi was reappointed as a Commissioner in the same commission because of his track records of performance, describing the duo as worthy ambassadors of the state.

"We are confident that the two of them will represent us well by contributing to the growth and development of Nigeria through their designated areas of assignments. We congratulate and rejoice with them over these commendable and worthy appointments," Babayemi applauded.
