Hijrah 1447: AIO Rallies Youth to Drive the Rebirth of a Glorious Constituency
As Muslims around the world usher in the sacred Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1447, Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), APC chieftain and frontline advocate for transformative leadership in Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency, has called on the youth to embrace the essence of renewal, responsibility, and purposeful engagement.
Drawing parallels from the historical Hijrah, the profound migration of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Madinah in pursuit of justice, safety, and divine purpose, AIO emphasized that this is a season for a new kind of migration. Not one of physical departure, but of a shift in mindset, attitude, and civic duty.
“Let this new year mark your personal Hijrah. Migrate from silence to action, from excuses to execution, from division to collaboration. Your destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice,” he said.
In his message, AIO challenged young people to stop waiting on leadership and instead become leadership. He called for mass alignment with a progressive agenda that seeks not personal gratification, but collective upliftment.
“My project is your project. Your project is our project. This is not just about me, it is about us, our dreams, our future, our name. The kind of Ila we leave behind must be one we can boldly defend before our children,” AIO asserted.
He spoke strongly against the dangerous culture of short-sighted loyalty and political sentiment that robs communities of credible leadership. He urged the youths to learn to support substance over sentiment. Reiterating that we need are builders, not brokers. Ideas, not insults. Impact, not influence-peddling.
With his tireless grassroots mobilization, youth sensitization efforts, and community-driven vision, AIO once again urged non-partisan support for a leadership that listens, lifts, and leads.
He encouraged youths in all corners of the constituency, both home and abroad to return, to participate, and to ensure they are counted not just as voters, but as nation-builders.
“This movement is not a political drama; it is a developmental duty. I urge you to come back home, vote right, speak up, build together. We owe it to those before us and those coming after,” he stressed.
