Appeal Court: No More Distractions, We Remain Focused For Good Governance In Boripe - Odebunmi

The Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru, has reassured the people of Boripe of his administration's commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability.

"We will not be distracted from our mission to deliver good governance and improve the lives of our people. We will remain focused on our goals and ensure that every decision we make is in the best interest of Boripe," Hon. Odebunmi stated.

Odebunmi clarified that the June 13th, 2025, appeal court judgment does not affect the leadership of APC's Chairmen and councilors. He emphasized that the appeal court judgment of February 10, 2025, remains valid, and only the Supreme Court can decide the fate of his administration.

The Appeal Court judgment in Appeal No. CA/AK/270/2022, which reinstated the APC Chairmen and Councilors, is a significant milestone. The Court of Appeal stated that relisting the APP judgment would lead to confusion and a review of its decision, and therefore rejected it.

Hon. Odebunmi reaffirmed his administration's commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery. He pledged to work tirelessly to ensure that the council's resources are utilized efficiently and effectively to benefit the people of Boripe.

The people of Boripe are urged to remain supportive of the council's efforts and to hold their leaders accountable for their actions.
