President Tinubu Inaugurates Hon. Taiwo Oluga as South West Commissioner, NASC; AIO Congratulates Osun’s Amazon, Commends Presidency and Stakeholders

In a significant move aimed at strengthening institutional representation and regional balance, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today officially inaugurated Hon. Taiwo Oluga as the South West Commissioner at the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).

The inauguration ceremony, held in Abuja, saw the presence of top government functionaries and political stakeholders across the federation. Hon. Oluga, a former Member of the House of Representatives and one of Osun’s finest political daughters, now occupies a critical position in shaping the administrative affairs of the National Assembly.

Reacting to this development, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), congratulated Hon. Taiwo Oluga on her latest national assignment, describing it as a reflection of her competence, loyalty, and service-oriented track record.

According to AIO, “This is another proud moment for Osun State and the progressive family. Hon. Oluga has consistently shown capacity, and her elevation to this strategic office is an evidence to her character and commitment to nation-building.”

He further commended President Tinubu for the appointment, which he said affirms the President’s inclusive vision and recognition of merit. He also expressed deep appreciation to the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, H.E. Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, for their instrumental roles in securing quality representation for Osun at the national level.
