Over 500 Beneficiaries Benefit from Empowerment Initiative
In a groundbreaking ceremony, Hon. Fatai Adeyemi, Executive Director of Operations at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), officially launched the Ileri-Oluwa Empowerment Scheme in the IBO Federal Constituency. This initiative aims to support APC stakeholders across Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin, empowering local talent, stimulating economic growth, and driving sustainable development in the constituency.
"We are committed to creating opportunities for our people and driving development in our community," said Hon. Fatai Adeyemi. "The Ileri-Oluwa Empowerment Scheme is a testament to our dedication to this cause."
As part of the scheme, over 500 beneficiaries, including Local Government Party Chairmen, Women Leaders, Ward Chairmen, Youth Leaders, and other party stakeholders in the IBO Federal Constituency received valuable items such as freezers and generators, intended to boost small-scale businesses and community livelihoods.
The beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation to the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, for his unwavering support and dedication to grassroots empowerment. Hon. Fatai Adeyemi also acknowledged and appreciated the immense support of the Hon Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, HE Adegboyega Oyetola and the Managing Director of NIMASA, Engr. Dayo Mobereola, for providing an enabling environment and leadership that made the initiative a success.
"This initiative will have a profound impact on our local communities creating jobs, promoting entrepreneurship, and improving the quality of life for our people," Adeyemi stated. He further emphasized: "The launch of the Ileri-Oluwa Empowerment Scheme is a significant milestone in our collective efforts to empower local communities and accelerate development in the state."
In his remarks, Osun APC Party Chairman Alhaji Sooko Tajudeen Lawal commended Hon. Fatai Adeyemi for his tireless efforts in promoting the welfare of the people and his commitment to the development of the constituency.
The Ileri-Oluwa Empowerment Scheme is expected to have a lasting impact on the lives of the beneficiaries and the community at large, promoting economic growth, social development, and political stability. Local Governments Council Chairmen in Boripe, Ifelodun and Odo-Otin, Councillors, and other Party Chieftains attended the ceremony.
