Boripe Local Government Executive Council Receives NURTW Iragbiji Branch, Calls for Collaboration

Iragbiji, Osun State -

 The Boripe Local Government Executive Council today received the Iragbiji Branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), with a call for collaboration and partnership in promoting peace, security, and economic development in the area.

The meeting, which took place at the Boripe Local Government Secretariat, Iragbiji, provided a platform for discussions on areas of mutual interest and cooperation.

Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru  and his counterpart in Boripe North LCDA, Hon. Bamigbegbin Issac, the Boripe Local Government Executive Council, expressed their commitment to working closely with the NURTW Iragbiji Branch to address the challenges facing the transport sector and the community at large.

The Chairman of the NURTW Iragbiji Branch, Babatunde Ganiyu, thanked the Boripe Local Government Executive Council for the warm reception and pledged the union's commitment to collaborating with the local government to promote the welfare and interests of its members and the community.

Notably, this meeting marks the first since the Appeal Court reinstated the Local Government to office, signaling the beginning of a new era of collaboration and partnership between the Boripe Local Government Executive Council and the NURTW Iragbiji Branch.
