Barrister Yomi Ogunwale, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has hailed the defection of Barr. Yinka Adeojo, former Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, and his followers into the APC fold in Boripe.

Barrister Ogunwale described the defection as a significant milestone in the APC's quest to strengthen its base in Osun State. He assured Barr. Adeojo and his followers of equal opportunities and participation in the party's activities.

The defection, which took place in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area, is seen as a major boost to the APC's chances in the upcoming elections in Osun State.
