...Affirms Commitment to President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda

The newly-appointed Executive Director, Engineering, Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, O-OSRBDA, has affirmed his commitment to ensure the actualization of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda in the Authority. 

Sowade Oluwakayode  who formally assumed office on Wednesday, upon his appointment by President  Tinubu on March 28th, 2025, pledged to work hand-in-hand with the Authority's Managing Director, Engr. Adedeji Ashiru and colleague Executive Directors to hit the ground running. 

The new Executive Director was accompanied to office by his political associates, kinsmen and well-wishers amidst pageantry and fanfare. 

In his short speech, Engr. Sowade expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for counting him worthy of the appointment just as he extolled the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola for his tremendous contributions in attaining the feats.

He sought for collaborative effort in taking the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu to fruition in the authority noting that it is high time to collectively build a virile nation that would be proud of by all Nigerians.

"I am extremely happy today for the blessings of God showered on me and for the rare privilege to serve in this capacity. I want to specifically thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the opportunity given to me to serve in this capacity. So also, my leader and mentor, Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola for making this happened. 

" I thank my people from Osun for coming to celebrate this and I pray God to keep them safely back home. I want to say that we are ready to hit the ground running and key into the President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda in this sector", he added.

Earlier, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, Engr. Adedeji Ashiru declared their readiness to hit the ground running just as he appreciated Sowade's people from Osun for coming to celebrate him.
