A significant political shift has occurred in Osun State, as Hon. Adeyinka Adeojo, former PDP State Secretary and former Director of Odu'a Investment, and Hon. Mudasiru Ohmakin, former Vice Chairman of Boripe Local Government, have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Boripe Local Government Area.

The defection took place during an APC Elders meeting, held at the former Governor's House, Adegboyega Oyetola, in Iragbiji. Hundreds of supporters also renounced their PDP membership to join the APC.

This historic defection underscores the growing popularity of the APC in Osun State and the appeal of its policies and programs.

Hon. Adeyinka Adeojo cited the APC's commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability as reasons for his decision. "We are excited to join the APC, a party that shares our values and vision for a better Osun State," he stated. "We are committed to working with our new party to deliver dividends of democracy to our people."

The APC leadership in Boripe welcomed the defectors, ensuring equal opportunities and a level playing field within the party.

This defection significantly boosts the APC in Osun State, and we look forward to working with our new members to build a stronger, more united party.
