The Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru, Vice Chairman, Hon. Fabunmi Sunday Gabriel, Boripe APC Party Chairman,  Prince Mufutau Okongo  (Okongo), and councilors joined other dignitaries to pay their respects at the 3-day Fidau prayer for the late Alhaji Hameed Olapade Adelu.

The Fidau prayer, which took place at the residence of the late Alhaji Hameed Olapade Adelu, was led by the Grand Chief Imam of Iragbiji, Sheik Solimam Suleiman Afolabi.

Other notable dignitaries in attendance included,Aragbiji, HRM Oba Abdul-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV, Olororuwo, HRM Oba Qomorudeen Adeyanju Bello, Popo Community elders. 

The event was a testament to the respect and admiration the late Alhaji Hameed Olapade Adelu commanded in the community. The Boripe Local Government Chairman and other dignitaries' presence demonstrated their solidarity with the family and the community in mourning the loss of a remarkable individual.

Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi, on behalf of the Boripe Local Government, extended condolences to the family and prayed for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace.
