SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: Ola-Oluwa LCDA Chairman, Hon. Adebiyi Adebayo Responds to PHC Plaque Removal at Telemu.
REMOVAL PHC PROJECT COMMISSIONING PLAQUES: SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT, HON. ADEBIYI ADEDAYO SPEAKS OUT
_Wednesday, March 19,2025._
Sequel to the supposed 18th February 2025 Commissioning of Primary Health Center at Telemu in the local government by the leadership of the State, it has been brought to the attention of the Chairman of Ola Oluwa Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Adebiyi Adedayo on the actions of the current state administration to undermine the achievements of the previous administration ably led by HE Alhaji Isiak Adegboyega Oyetola. This is a call to action on all citizens to be aware of the facts surrounding the recent developments in the community.
Specifically, the commissioning plaques at the Primary Health Care centers at Telemu Ward 01, Ogbaagba Ward 04, Ikire/Iwara Ward 05 have been removed, and new signposts have been erected, falsely attributing the rehabilitation and upgrading of the facilities to the current administration.
This move is not only a blatant attempt to deceive the public but also a display of politics of bitterness. The truth is that the Oyetola administration had rehabilitated the Primary Health Care centers, and the commissioning plaques bearing his administration's name was a testament to that achievement. However, the Adeleke administration's decision to remove the plaques and replace them with Adeleke administration's signposts bearing their name is a clear attempt to rewrite history and take credit for someone else's work.
As a responsible leader, Hon. Adebiyi Adedayo is urging citizens to be vigilant and not fall prey to such deceitful tactics. It's essential to separate facts from fiction and to hold leaders accountable for their actions. The people of Ola Oluwa LG deserve transparency, fairness and honesty from their leaders, and it's time to demand it.
The removal of the commissioning plaque and the erection of a new signpost are not just minor incidents; they represent a broader pattern of behavior that undermines the trust and confidence of the people in their leadership of the state. It's time for citizens to wake up and demand better from this administration.
Furthermore, Hon. Adebiyi Adedayo is committed to serving the people of Ola Oluwa LG with integrity and transparency. He believes that leaders should be held accountable for their actions and that the people deserve better through transparency and utmost honesty. As the Chairman of Ola Oluwa LCDA, he is dedicated to promoting the welfare and well-being of the citizens and to upholding the values of honesty and integrity.
In conclusion, Hon. Adebiyi Adedayo urges citizens to remain vigilant and distance themselves from unscrupulous elements that aim to stain and undermine the achievements of the previous administration. The people of Ola Oluwa LG deserve better, and it's time to stand up for what is right.
Let us join hands to promote transparency, accountability, and honesty in our community. Together, we can build a better future for ourselves and for generations to come.
Signed
