Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi Pays Tribute To Late Alhaja Wulemot Arike Oyetola On 14th Rememberance Prayer

Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru, the Chairman of Boripe Local Government, has paid a glowing tribute to the late Alhaja Wulemot Arike Oyetola, mother of the former Governor of Osun State, and current Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola CON.
In a statement released today by the media unit office of the Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi described Alhaja Oyetola as a "virtuous woman" who lived a life of service, compassion, and devotion to her family and community.
"We remember Alhaja Wulemot Arike Oyetola as a shining example of motherhood, kindness, and generosity," Hon. Odebunmi said. "Her legacy continues to inspire us, and we pray that Allah grants her soul eternal rest."
Hon. Odebunmi also praised Alhaja Oyetola's contributions to the development of Osun State through his son, HE Adegboyega Oyetola, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and infrastructure during his tenure as the Executive Governor of Osun State.
"Alhaja Oyetola was a pillar of strength and support for her family and community," Hon. Odebunmi said. "Her selflessness, wisdom, and guidance inspired countless individuals, and her impact will be felt for generations to come."
Hon. Odebunmi also extended his condolences to the Oyetola family, particularly Adegboyega Oyetola, and prayed that Allah give them the strength to bear the loss.
"On behalf of the people of Boripe Local Government, I offer our deepest condolences to the Oyetola family," Hon. Odebunmi said. "May Allah comfort them during this difficult time and grant them the strength to continue her legacy."
The statement concluded with a prayer for the soul of Alhaja Wulemot Arike Oyetola.
"May Allah forgive her sins, grant her eternal rest, and admit her into Al-Jannah Firdaus," Hon. Odebunmi prayed.
