The Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi, has congratulated Muslims in Boripe on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement released to the press by Media unit, Hon. Odebunmi urged Muslims to sustain the virtues of the holy month, including self-discipline, empathy, and generosity, beyond Ramadan.

"I extend my warmest greetings to all Muslims in Boripe on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr," Hon. Odebunmi said. "This holy month has provided us with a unique opportunity to rekindle our faith, seek forgiveness, and strengthen our bond with Allah and with one another."

Hon. Odebunmi emphasized the importance of cooperation and prayer, noting that these values are essential for building a harmonious and equitable society. "As we mark this joyous occasion, let us renew our commitment to the values of justice, equality, and compassion that are at the heart of our faith," he said.

He also urged Muslims to continue to uphold the principles of Ramadan, including forgiveness, charity, and self-reflection, in their daily lives. "Let us work together to build a brighter future for ourselves, our children, and our communities," Hon. Odebunmi said.

The Chairman praised the Muslim community in Boripe for their contributions to the development of the area and urged them to continue working together for the progress of the community.

Hon. Odebunmi sought for the cooperation and prayer of the Muslim community for the peace and prosperity of Boripe Local Government. "I urge you all to continue to pray for our community, our leaders, and our people, that we may continue to enjoy peace, prosperity, and progress," he said.
