 Barrister Yomi Ogunwale, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun Central Senatorial District, has expressed deep concern over the escalating violence between the Ifon and Ilobu communities.

In a statement released today, personally signed by him, Barrister Yomi Ogunwale condemned the senseless violence and loss of life, extending his sympathies to the victims and their families.

"We cannot continue to lose precious lives and properties to senseless violence," Ogunwale said. "I urge Governor Ademola Adeleke to take more proactive measures to safeguard the lives and properties of Osun citizens."

Furthermore, Ogunwale called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the matter, bringing his attention to the urgent need for peace and stability in the affected communities.

The recent outbreak of violence between the two communities has resulted in loss of lives and properties, leaving many families in distress. Ogunwale emphasized the need for swift and decisive action to address the crisis and restore peace to the communities.
