APM Commends Osun APC-ALGON For Plans To Reabsorb Sacked Teachers, Medical Workers, Others

The Osun State chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement(APM) has commended the chairman of the state chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria(ALGON), Hon Abiodun Idowu, for displaying qualitative leadership at this crucial time in the history of the state.

The state chapter of the party is happy with the actions and inactions of the reinstated Osun  local government council chairmen and the councillors which is the reason there is the reigning peace in the state.

We have been watching the members of the ALGON  in Osun State since their reinstatement by the Court of Appeal judgement of the 10th of February, 2025 and there is no gainsaying the fact that they have been adding substantial value to the corporate image of our state.

We are not surprised with the display of candour, maturity and integrity  by the leadership of the Osun State ALGON peopled by the APC local government council chairmen who have proven to be worthy ambassadors of Osun State

We are particularly happy with your resolve to reabsorb the 1,500 teachers and thousands of the medical staff employed by former Governor Gboyega Oyetola who were maliciously sacked by Governor Adeleke at the onset of his administration.

We shall continue to improve our belief in divine supplications to enable you propagate meaningful dividends of democracy with the resultant effect of improving the quality of the lives of our people.

We are satisfied with the conduct of the leadership and membership of the APC-ALGON who have been using administrative prowess to instil live into the hitherto moribund local government council areas across the nooks and crannies of our state.

You can not afford not to be entities who value peace even in the face of provocation when it is known to all and sundry that the state leader of your party, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the immediate-past governor of the state now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, is a complete gentleman who cannot hurt a fly.

It is important we remind you that there are lots of expectations from you by the good people of our state who hitherto have been denied quality governance at both the state and grassroots levels of government in the state.

We are imploring you not to listen to any distraction beyond being focused in the overall interest of the development of our state particularly at the grassroots level.

We are assuring you that the long arm of the law shall soon catch up with the impostors of the state ALGON who think they can operate outside the provisions of the law of the land by flagrantly disrespecting the judiciary and bringing it into disrepute for selfish political benefit.

Who ever cares to know should be in the know of the fact that Osun State which is a subset of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a creation of the law which would always guide its operations in the same manner with the comity of the states in this country.
