Osun Progressive People's Forum Holds Prayer Session for Late Hon. Remi Abass. By : Popoola Opeyemi Utility

The Osun Progressive People's Forum held a prayer session today in Osogbo to honor the memory of the late Hon. Remi Abass, who served as the chairman of Irewole Local Government in Osun State.

The prayer session was a solemn occasion for members of the forum to come together and pay their respects to the late Hon. Abass, who was tragically killed on February 17, 2025, during violent clashes over local government administration in Osun.

The Osun Progressive People's Forum uses this opportunity to reiterate its call for peace and stability in Osun State. We urge all stakeholders to work towards resolving their differences through peaceful means.

We also extend our condolences to the family and loved ones of the late Hon. Abass, and pray that God grants them the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
