FORMER WARD COUNCILLOR, HON. KAZEEM RETURNS TO APC, DESCRIBE PDP AS PARTY FULL OF DECEITS.

The Councillor who represented Ward 4, Faji/Opete in Odo-Otin Local Government during the tenure of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as the Governor of Osun State, Hon Kazeem Okunlola has returned to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Hon Kazeem who was lured  by the  People's Democratic Party, PDP just before the house of assembly election in 2023 returned to the APC and he was welcomed by the leaders of the ward and local government on Thursday, 13th February 2025.

While welcoming Kazeem back to the camp of the APC, the Chairman of the party in Odo-Otin local Government, Alhaji Jimoh Aasa alongside other executives, ward chairmen and distinguished leaders said the party has over the years demonstrated readiness to embrace anyone who is a true Progressive.

Hon Kazeem Okunlola during his speech gave the reason why he came back home to his party and described the PDP as a party full of deceit and lies. He also expressed willingness to join hands and work harmoniously with the ward chairman and other leaders of the ward.

One of the major highlights of the event was the burning of an umbrella and the handing over of broom to Hon Kazeem Okunlola as a symbol of that he has dumped the PDP and rejoined the APC.

All the speakers including Hon Wahab Ilyas, Hon George Durosimi, Prince Adeniran Kilomodemo Ibitoye KLM, Surv Seyi Oke, Hon Rasaq Adeyemi Pele, Hon Mufutau Abioye, Ms Yomi Olaniyan, Women leader, Hon Taofeek Ibitayo Alayo, Hon Ganiyu Lawal Femo and Hon Samson Oduoye promised the leadership of the party of their readiness to deliver the ward during the 2026 governorship election.

Prince Adeniran Kilomodemo Ibitoye KLM stated that Ward 4 (Faji/Opete) is one of the few wards where no member had decamped to other party, and that the ward remain united, because, the its leadership uses different techniques to catch attract members to the APC.
