The Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru -led administration in Boripe Local Government, Iragbiji, has unveiled plans to boost food security in the area through the upcoming raining season.

This was made known during a meeting between the Chairman and his Councillors, where strategies for enhancing agricultural production and improving the livelihood of farmers were discussed.

The administration's plan for agricultural revolution in Boripe Local Government is aimed at transforming the area into a major hub for agricultural production, thereby boosting food security and economic growth.

The Chairman, Hon. Sikirun Odebunmi, reiterated his administration's commitment to supporting farmers and ensuring that the local government area becomes self-sufficient in food production.

To achieve this goal, the administration has mapped out strategies to provide support to farmers, including the provision of seeds, fertilizers, and other necessary equipment.

The administration has also promised to rehabilitate rural roads and provide other necessary infrastructure to support agricultural production in the area.
