ARAGBIJI CELEBRATES PA BISI AKANDE AT 86, LAUDS HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

His Royal Majesty Oba Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi (JP) FCIPM, FNIM, MNIPR, FAFUED FOSCOTECH, Odundun IV Asoludero, the Aragbiji of Iragbijiland and Pro-Chancellor/ Chairman Council of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNANB) has joined other well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating former Governor of Osun State and elder statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, CFR, on his 86th birthday.

In a statement released through his Press Secretary on Friday 17th, 2024 in his hometown, Iragbiji, Osun State, Oba Olabomi described Pa Akande as an icon of exemplary leadership, whose contributions to Nigeria’s political and socio-economic development remain unparalleled.

Highlighting the former governor’s legacy, Aragbiji praised Chief Akande’s enduring commitment to good governance, simplicity, and his patriotic approach to addressing national issues. 

"Chief Akande’s immense contributions to Nigeria’s democratic growth and his unwavering advocacy for sustainable development continue to serve as a beacon of hope for the country. His life is a testament to the virtues of honesty, discipline, and resilience,” Oba Olabomi stated.

I wish him the very best on his special day and pray for his continued health and strength so that he can enjoy the fruits of his labour.
