The sudden self re-cast of an old horse, his incendiary push and pull, chilling with a prying eye on the ticket of the Osun State All Progressive Congress (APC) to run for the Senate from the Osun East District of the state, has huge misses, on unbroken lines, a strategic colossal error to ingest utter confusion, spiral skywards, in the party in the Osun East Senatorial District; and at the fringe of time, to cause the party in the District tactically sold out again, to potential buyers from within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

Curiously, in the circumstances of another man on ground, symbolic of true representation, no APC man or woman in Osun East, to panic or get distraught, sad, screaming and become withdrawn. And the party, not to gasp at any straw. This another man is Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe. 

True representation is not about the flimsies of legislative experience of mean value and lean impact, often taunted by the horse, a mismatch antenna, indexed of averagely efficient and effective representation, with distortions caused to what constituents ought to have benefitted by his representation of yesteryears and damages to the radiation pattern of such benefits. 

A critical re-evaluation of true representation rather, is about having a leader with evidential dedication to improving the lives of the people of Osun East, and make positive impact on the communities across the District. It's _atari ajanaku_ too consequential a bill for pick by a meagre man, scanty and limited or restricted.

Impressively, decked in Ogungbangbe, a chieftain of APC from Osun East, scion of Ajagbusi Ekun Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of Osun, the mogu of the nation's energy stream and pillar of the economy, is the bountiful transformative power of genuine representation of the Osun East District in the Senate, with niches carved and marked by his already impactful projects of diverse kinds and found in different locations, improving life and living, evidently posturing to developments of schools, universities, mosques, churches, airport road in Kano and various communities as well as philanthropy to several individuals, including scholarships for students, and clearance of politicians' tax liabilities that now qualifies them for election. 

His beneficence, humanitarianism or charity, tangible cut across tribes and religions, taking responsibility of the charges, or costs put on his tab, bill or account. He's a leader, the beacon of hope for Osun East who understands the needs of the constituents and ready actively to translate that understanding into tangible improvements in the lives of the people of the Ife/Ijesa axis of the state.

This is the time to tell ourselves the truth, only the truth, the whole truth and nothing but absolutely transparent truth. The media story on the old horse, this week, otherwise, to attract the party ticket to the impedance of the horse antenna, is a story woven for mere political rhetoric, a tapestry crafted with the threads of journalism, portending to be of interesting concern to Osun East. The rhetoric is merely a proposal, far from being any serious project, and cannot be a project, sustainable, for its lack of validity and insurmountable obstacles, here, there and everywhere in Ife/Ijesa axis. The project, if it's one at all, is 'dead on arrival, (DoA),'  the party enthusiasts in Osun East, said in different chats.

And you and I know that the party ticket, invested in the DoA project will be time, effort, hope, other resources, wasted on a failing initiative; and in the wise, cause delay to the progress of Osun East. Trust, the party has tendency to avoid delay to its progress in any parts of the state, and will like, in automation, get adaptability ingrained in self and make party groupings think through the party, to build more speed, mobility, strength into the party.

But the Osun APC to know that the old horse reconnection to be in the Senate is akin to the metaphor of a test runner, representing a curious and adventurous spirit or mind, trying at navigating a territory, feel the pulse, gauge reactions and get a sense of the atmosphere. It's like taking the temperature of the room. But the temperature could be higher than felt.
