Osun Women in Politics Inaugurates Unit Mobilizers Across 12 Wards in Ifelodun Local Government
The Osun Women in Politics recently inaugurated Unit Mobilizers across the 12 wards of Ifelodun Local Government at the APC Party Secretariat on Iragbiji Road, Ikirun. The event aimed to strengthen the party's grassroots presence and ensure the mobilization of support ahead of the upcoming elections in Osun State.
The State Coordinator, Alhaja Kehinde Salami Olaitan, emphasized the critical role that the newly appointed mobilizers will play in advancing the All Progressives Congress (APC) agenda. She urged them to work diligently for the progress of the party, ensuring that every community member understands the party's vision and is motivated to participate in the electoral process. "Your work is vital for the success of our party in the forthcoming elections. Let us rally together and promote the values of APC," she stated.
Several prominent personalities attended the inauguration, all emphasizing the importance of unity within the party. Mr. Toke Adeyemo, Chairman of all Ward Chairmen in Ifelodun Local Government, spoke passionately about the need for collective efforts to unify the party, stating, "Together, we can overcome any challenges and emerge victorious in the elections."
Elder Oyedele Oladele, the Local Secretary for APC, echoed this sentiment, representing all secretaries and stressing the importance of solidarity among members. He highlighted that a united front is essential for achieving the party's objectives.
Mrs. Iyabo Popoola, representing women leaders, also addressed the gathering, urging the mobilizers to focus on the progress of the party. She reinforced the idea that women's participation and leadership are crucial for the development of APC in the region.
Furthermore, Mrs. Iyabo Odedele akaYeye, the Councillorship Candidate for Ward 02, represented the candidates in the forthcoming Local Government elections. She expressed her gratitude for the support and promised to convey the hopes and aspirations of the party to the councillors within Ifelodun Local Government.
Mr. Saheed Kareem, representing the Youths Leader in the council, described the initiative as a "new beginning for winning the next election in the state." He encouraged the youth to actively engage in political processes and support their representatives.
The inauguration was well-attended by notable members, including Ajisafe Florence JP, also known as Ironlady, Iyabo Gbenga, Alhaja Kehinde Ishola, Mrs.Ojo Afusat, Mrs. Muhammad Awawu, Mrs. Oyenike Kehinde, Mrs Oyetola Motunrayo and also members from Boripe Local Government are Mary Ogundele and Raji Olanike, who joined Alhaja Kehinde Salami Olaitan in endorsing the mobilizers' mission.
