Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe has lauded the crucial position occupied by the former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) in the Osun State government and governance.

He gave the applause as Hadj Ismail Omipidan, a former CPS got elevated from his previous Assistant Editor (Politics) at the Sun Publishing Limited, Lagos, the publisher of Daily Sun newspaper, to the position of Deputy Editor (Politics), after a stint as CPS to Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, CON, former Osun governor of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and now, Hon. Minister of Marine & Blue Economy.

Ogungbangbe, the APC chieftain from Osun East Senatorial District, noted that the high level of patriotism frequently exhibited by the erstwhile CPS was constantly in consonance with the values of Oyetola's government in the state. 

"Omipidan as CPS applied himself vigorously to his task and stood stoutly in defense of his press releases issued on the latitude of courage, truth, conviction and positivity, as professional assets that marked out the Oyetola government and governance for receptive understanding and outstanding acceptance, based on multiple feedback, the overwhelmingly positive response from the public," the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES, remarked.

The past CPS piously adhered to the Code of Conduct for practicing journalists, expressive of the functionality of his press constructs, complimentary to excellence and potency as a catalyst for the practice of democracy. And his professionalism substantially renewed the Osun public awareness, provided necessary conditions for  order and stability in the state, and ensured the survival, with profound achievements, of the government under which he served as CPS."

Prince Ogungbangbe, the scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of the state, wishes the  CPS further successes in his future endeavours, expressing optimism that the fast moving journalist would continue to tap into his wealth of experience as a compass for greater drive.
