The Osun State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sooko Tajudeen Lawal on Saturday, 9 November, 2024 honoured the Oluomo of Inisa land, Chief Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun with his attendance at the 2024 Post-Inisa Day celebration (33rd Series).

According to a statement signed by one of the prominent leaders of the APC in Odo-Otin Local Government Area, Prince Adeniran Kilomodemo Ibitoye, also known as KLM, the remarkable gathering held at the Dreamland Hotel, Inisa was meticulously organized by Hon. Tele Oyegoke, a dedicated protégé of an Elderstatesman, Baba Oyedokun. 

The event stood as a powerful tribute to the legacy of commitment and visionary leadership that Baba Oyedokun has cultivated in the hearts of all indigenes of Inisa 

In his words, Sooko Lawal said the event served not only as a commemoration of the rich heritage of Inisa Town but also as a vibrant showcase of its culture to the world.

"I have attended various festivities, it was truly uplifting to witness the remarkable unity and infectious enthusiasm among the people of Inisa, this gathering was not merely a celebration; it was a profound manifestation of their collective values, progress, resilience, and dedication to enhancing their community. It is moments like these that reinforce their identity and inspire them to strive for greater accomplishments together" Sooko Lawal said.

He further expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders, loyalists, and members of the Osun APC across the Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin federal constituencies. 

"A special acknowledgement goes to our supporters from Inisa Town, whose steadfast loyalty and support play a crucial role in propelling our collective mission. Your commitment fuels the progress of our great party and empowers our community as a whole, As we move forward, let us continue to honour our revered leader Baba Shuiab Oyedokun and his enduring legacy"

In his remarks, Chief Oyedokun appreciated the Chairman and his entourage which included the Ekerin of Ikirun land, Chief Dr Moshood Oluawo (Moshadek), APC State Youth Leader, Comrade Goke Akinwemimo, APC Chairmanship Candidate in Odo-Otin, Surveyor Oluseyi Oke, among others for gracing the event.

Baba Oyedokun described the Inisa Day 2024 as an avenue for all Inisa sons and daughters to celebrate their Cultural Heritage, as he further expressed delight over the huge turnout of indigenes who attended the event, which was characterised with funfair and glamour.
