Today, the Otan Ayegbaju Muslim community gathered for its eagerly awaited Annual Fundraising Ceremony at the Central Mosque of Otan Ayegbaju. This year’s event was particularly significant, attracting community leaders, religious figures, and distinguished guests dedicated to fostering Islamic outreach and strengthening unity among community members.

The ceremony was graced by His Royal Majesty, Oba Lukman Adesola Ojo Fadipe, whose presence lent an air of dignity to the occasion. Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Yusuf, the Chief Host, warmly welcomed all attendees, emphasizing the importance of solidarity within the community and the need to support Islamic education and charitable initiatives.

Bar. Lukman, who served as the Chairman for the event, set a thoughtful tone with his remarks, highlighting how faith-based initiatives can enhance social cohesion and elevate the community's well-being. The Chief Imam, Alhaji Suleiman Abdusalam Adetunji, reinforced these sentiments, leading a prayer for ongoing peace and prosperity in Otan Ayegbaju and beyond.

Hon. Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin, the Chief Launcher, made a notable impact through his generous contribution, represented by Hon. Tejumola Abdulateef. In his message, Hon. Adeniyi called for mutual respect and love among community members, advocating for peaceful coexistence and encouraging local traders to engage fairly and considerately with residents.

The event also recognized several prominent attendees, including Mr. Aderemi Adelani Olufemi and Mr. Adeniyi Olusegun Aderemi, whose involvement highlighted their dedication to the community's welfare and spiritual advancement. Hajia Zara Goni was honored as the Mother of the Day for her steadfast support of women and youth in their spiritual and social pursuits.

In his address, Hon. Adeniyi praised the Muslim community’s efforts to create a nurturing environment for Islamic education and charitable activities.
