NIWA Boss, Bola Oyebamiji Takes IleriOluwa Free Fuel Distribution To Ede

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Bola Oyebamiji, will tomorrow Thursday take the IleriOluwa Free Fuel Scheme to the ancient town of Ede.

The initiative is part of Oyebamiji's effort to ameliorate the economic hardship faced by the residents particularly Okada riders and tricycle operators popular call Keke Moruwa in the state.

The free fuel distribution gesture is designed to cover 15,000 beneficiaries

Since the programme kicked off in September, 2024, over 3000 beneficiaries drawn from Gbongan, ; Ode-omu; Orile-owu in Ayedaade Local Government; Ikire in Irewole Local Government and Iwo in Iwo Local Government areas have benefitted so far. 

The initiative aims to further support commercial cyclists across the 10 Local Government Areas in Osun West Senatorial District.
